Brooks Range, Arctic Alaska
The Dalton Highway provides easy access to parts of Arctic Alaska. The Brooks Range may not be as awsome as some of the other mountain ranges in the state, but it has long been one of my favorite regions. Mount Sukapak, north of Wiseman, is a dominant part of the landscape of the southern Brooks Range along the highway. Here you may also see the spires of Mount Snowden, and Mount Dillon reflected in a lake.
